Klee Wyck is a well-equipped and lightly used example of the popular Hanse 455 – one of the most successful models from this builder that prioritizes sailing performance and ease of use.
Stand-out features of this particular 455 include generator, air conditioning, bow thruster, solar panel, a 7’ 3” keel with lead bulb for maximum stability and upwind performance, electric winches, and the transom sink/grill option. Electronics were upgraded in 2022 and include larger 12” plotters, as well as autopilot, radar and AIS.
The Judel/Vrolijk-designed 455 series includes a larger cockpit and waterline than the previous 445 model, as well as significantly larger overhead hatches and hull windows to create a bright, open interior.
The three-cabin layout includes a large island berth forward, with an en-suite head to starboard and completely separate shower to port – one of our favorite features on this model. Two large aft cabins and a large head/shower allow plenty of space and privacy for family and friends to stay aboard for the summer cruise.
On deck she is set up for efficient short-handed sailing, with lines led back to the electric winches at each helm. A mainsail stack-pack and lazy jacks make raising and lowering the main easy without sacrificing performance. When the wind does not cooperate, her 57 hp diesel saildrive allows for a 7.5+ kt cruising speed.

Stepping down the companionway, the saloon feels bright and open thanks to large hull windows and overhead hatches. The French oak furniture in “Canadian Chestnut” pairs nicely with the “Noce Nero” floorboards, creating a warm, modern feel.
To starboard is the L-shaped galley with Seashell White countertops. You’ll find the standard fridge plus a drawer fridge here, with the third fridge integrated into the cockpit table. Opposite, the Portofino Leather in “Clay” seating features a retractable dining table that converts into a double berth. Indirect lighting and dimmable LED overheads can be configured to match your mood. A TV is fitted in the saloon and connects to the navigation system.
Forward is the owner’s cabin with a large centerline island double berth (upgraded comfort mattress), good storage, and a split ensuite — electric marine head on one side and a separate shower stall on the other.
Aft, two generous double guest cabins (also with upgraded comfort mattresses) share the second electric head located just to port of the companionway.
Three-zone air conditioning covers the salon, master, and aft cabins (aft unit new in 2026). Venetian blinds and flyscreens are fitted on all opening hatches.
