Description
ALIBI has had just one owner since new, and has benefited from numerous upgrades to keep her in great shape for both racing and cruising. A few stand-out features and upgrades:

This 2000 model was built by J/Composites in France. She is identical to the US-built J/120 on deck and below the waterline, but her interior has more refined finishes giving her a higher-end feel onboard. These include a larger salon table containing the house battery bank directly over the keel, a fully built companionway instead of the removable companionway ladder, and a diesel engine with sail drive rather than a shaft.
Accommodations
Two cabin interior finished in gloss teak veneer with solid trim, creating a warm and inviting space with plenty of light.
Forward cabin with large v-berth, storage and hanging locker to port, access to head, and large overhead hatch.
Salon featuers flip up pilot berths port & starboard (starboard "rack" is removable) with additional cabinetry on starboard. Fold-out table with storage.
A proper nav station is to starboard, with a chart table, electrical panels, navigation systems, and 3 drawers.
To port is an L-shaped galley with a stainless two basin sink, 12 volt refrigeration, and copious storage for an extended cruise or race to Bermuda.
Aft of the galley is the "garage door" allowing access to the port side lazarette.
Aft to starboard is a large berth with storage and opening ports/hatches.

Major electronics refit in 2019, all work performed by YachtSoft.

Ownership History and Race Results
ALIBI is a single-owner J/120 built by J Composites in France, and first delivered to the UK. In 2003 the owner relocated to Connecticut and shipped the boat to the US, campaigning her in some of the marquee events in Long Island Sound and New England (see race results below).
The owner has moved up to a larger vessel and is now offering ALIBI at a fraction of her repalcement cost.
